Our Play Zones at a Glance
Designed with Purpose
Every zone was designed using occupational therapy research. Here's what makes each one different.
Reading & Drawing Area
A calm, welcoming space designed for creative expression and quiet discovery. Children can read from our diverse, inclusive book collection, draw and write at dedicated activity tables, and engage in paper-based creative play in a low-stimulation environment.
Activity supplies are always available, including crayons, markers, sticker sheets, coloring pages, and drawing paper. Our book collection includes stories featuring neurodivergent characters, diverse families, and themes of belonging. A great spot for children who prefer quieter, self-directed activity.
Movement Zone
Active bodies are happy bodies. The Movement Zone features climbing structures, swings, balance beams, obstacle courses, and gross motor play equipment. Designed for children ages 2 to 12, with everything set up to support proprioceptive and vestibular sensory needs.
The swing setup includes platform swings ideal for children who need deep pressure input, as well as traditional and net swings. All equipment is padded and meets ASTM safety standards. The zone is visually clear so caregivers can always maintain line of sight.
Imaginative Play Zone
Sparking creativity through storytelling and role-play, the Imaginative Play Zone features a children's kitchen, grocery store, doctor's office, dress-up corner, and puppet theater. This zone is especially powerful for developing social skills, language, and emotional understanding.
The props and costumes represent diverse families, cultures, and professions. Children with communication differences often do well here. Play gives them a natural, low-pressure way to practice language and social skills at their own pace.
Sensory Room
A tranquil, calming sanctuary available throughout your visit. When the stimulation of play becomes too much, the Sensory Room provides a beautiful low-light environment with fiber optic lighting, weighted blankets, calming music, and soft textures to help children decompress and self-regulate.
Designed in close collaboration with licensed OTs, the Sensory Room is not a "timeout space". It's a regulation tool. Children and caregivers are encouraged to visit proactively, not just when distressed. Many families make it their favourite spot in the whole building.
Private Party Room
Our beautiful, dedicated party space is designed to host unforgettable celebrations. The room can be fully decorated to your theme and comfortably seats up to 30 guests. Available for birthday parties, family celebrations, therapy group events, and private playdates.
Our private party room is separated from the main play area for a more comfortable celebration experience. Tables, chairs, and basic linens are included. Party support is available during your booking.
Baby-Friendly Area
A cozy, safe space designed specifically for our littlest visitors. The Baby-Friendly Area features soft mats, gentle sensory toys, baby books, and age-appropriate activities for infants and young toddlers. Parent and caregiver seating is positioned right alongside the play area so little ones are always within reach.
Everything in this area is designed with the developmental needs of babies and very young children in mind — soft surfaces, low stimulation, and gentle sensory engagement. A welcoming corner for families with babies who want to join alongside their older siblings.
